I am on clomid at present and have been really encouraged to find that I can now talk with other people about my experiences. This has been so great for me, my problem is that when reading the other comments there is so much that i have no knowledge of. I read about all these different drugs taken with clomid and to help control pcos and my doctor has never mentioned any of them to me. I know nothing about temp taking and also met, ( I am not ever sure what that stands for!). I want my changes to conceive to be as high as possible can anyone tell me what all this is so I can become more pro-active and gain a better knowledge about PCOS and its impacts on couples who are trying for a baby. -- Hi, I have been trying to get preg. for around 2 years now. I have just finished my first course of clomid, which was not very sucessful. I only had one period so I think I need a higher dosage. I just feel that it will never happen. How good is clomid and what happens if it doesn't work, is there anything else. I could not afford IVF!
