Can someone remind me why I am taking this drug?? Thanks This is my first visit & post to site. Am 50, had total hysterectomy @29 due to cysts. I had never heard of PCOS until my daughter started having problems similar to my teen years. I am amazed at the PCOS symptoms--finally some similar problems & some answers. As to ACTOS--have been on 8 months and gained 23 pounds but went through a long, hard & deep snow winter. Am considering asking Dr to change drugs for insulin resitance. Anyone else out there past child-bearing with similar problem??
