IR Causes PCOS, without question. Here are some good links to medical
journal articles that might help you convince your doctor. This is why
treatment of the IR (with drugs such as Metformin) results in decreased
symptoms. If he doesn't buy it, you need a new doctor! It's ridiculous
and makes me VERY angry that he would try and push this on you!!!
