I would run my butt off trying to find a new doctor!!! Seriously though... I am so sorry you've had to experience the joys of a doctor who hasn't got a clue. It happens all to often but it is NOT your fault and flatly, he is WRONG. We know that. Pack up and move on to the next doctor on your insurance list or whatever. Even if you have to go outside your insurance, in a pinch, just paying for a single meeting with a physician who knows what they are doing can be quite worth it.
