Hi Sara, Having a certified hair dresser for a Mom, I can answer this question for you. It's really quite simple. Facial hair is VERY small. It doesn't take any time at all (especially for us with PCOS) for the hair to start growing, which makes it turn back to it's original color. The follicles are smaller and are used to producing hair more frequently than the follicles on your head. This is what causes the fast regrowth, and hence, the revertion back to the real color. Easy enough huh? lol
