So what your are seeing on your face is not a return to the natural color, but a brand new hair! That's why when people go in for laser hair removal, it has to be done over several months. Hair can only be 'killed' at in the growing stage and hairs not all of your hair is at the growing stage at the same time. You can also understand this by looking at the fact that the hair on your head can grow very long before it falls out and makes room for a new hair.
