Amy - congratulations on getting metformin in the UK! Which hospital do
you go to for this?
I had a gynaecology appointment yesterday which only revolved around
which Pill I should be on. I asked about insulin resistance, but got a
vague response about links with type II diabetes later in life. When I
asked about any other types of treatment, different Pills were listed!
I had hoped this would be an opportunity to update my treatment (which
is currently Pill + cyproterone acetate) but it wasn't to be.
I'm thinking of asking my GP to refer elsewhere, so would be interested
to know who is treating you.
Hope you can help!
