Answer for Susan....From: Kristy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 4 Apr 2001 17:39:10 -0500 (CDT)
The amount of cream that you use depends on how many mg. are in each jar or tube, etc. But 20 mg. per day is the suggested dosage. Most creams require 1/4 tsp. of the cream, not 1/8. I HATE measuring cream, and that's why I love this airtight metered pump that I buy. It measures out exactly 20 mg. per day and there's a guaranteed 60 metered pumps per bottle. It's great stuff. Yes, I'm still using one pump of the cream daily to help hold the pregnancy in, since we PCOSer's are more prone to miscarriage. I am SO sorry that you have miscarried. I have miscarried many babies myself, and I know the pain all too well. I also had a tubal pregnancy that almost killed me, so I'm working with one tube now! I'll keep using this cream until I'm three months along, and then take a couple of weeks to taper off of it. My best wishes go to you... Love, Kristy B.
