Tracy -

I am sorry that I don't have any answers about the effects you're seeing from the Metformin increase. Definitely stay on top of it, make sure your endo continues to check your TSH as well as other stuff, and let me know how it goes. I can't imagine how frustrating that would be!

One additional point, I was told by women here and had it confirmed by my physician that especially with PCOS, taking 500mg of Met a day is almost like taking nothing at all. The LOWEST dosage they see results at in almost all women is 1500mg. I know kicking your dose up again is the last thing you want to consider right now, especially with what's going on, but in a weird sort of way it might help. Good Luck!!
