Susan C.,

I have recently been diagnosed PCOS, after, like many others here, years of not knowing what was wrong with me. My dr. has me on glucophage 500mg , twice a day. Has it really helped you?, and how long did it take to show any marked results for you? I have taken it for a little over 3 months, and the only difference I see is weight loss, which I think may be do to the irritable bowel syn. I also want to know if I would need to be on other medication to be able to ovulate. Any information would be greatly appreciated, my dr. hasn't had much info to offer and I would like to know more.
