Chrissy, I can understand not wanting to use medication on something you can treat naturally but if the only thing the herbs are doing is regulating the periods then, like birth controll pills, they are only masking the problem and not dealing with base issues like insulin resistance. You can make yourself have regular periods and still suffer all the other symptoms of PCOS. It's a wonderful idea and I definately agree with the use of herbs but I just want to make sure it's clear that the majority of us have tried just about everything there is out there, and conventional medicine in some cases is not negative thing. Some herbs helped a few of my symptoms somewhat- but nothing even close to what glucophage did. Don't get me wrong, I'm just curious, I think as far as this disorder goes, different view points and avenues of treatment are very important and I think it's awesome that you found something that works for you.
