Carol, the first person to ever tell me that something might be wrong with my body hormonally (and not just "Oh, you're fat!") was my WONDERFUL gynecologist that I saw at the University Health Center. Because I was a student, it cost me $5 every time I went to see her. If you attend a major university, there should be staff at the health center who can help you for a very low cost! Good Luck.
