Re: Help finding doctor who won't blow me off as a nutcaseFrom: Dona (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 31 Mar 2001 13:19:29 -0600 (CST)
Hi, I'm sorry about your situation. It can be very fustrating without medical insurance and being in school.I have been there. Have you thought about going to a medical school for treatment? If there is a university medical school near you maybe you can see if they are doing any reshearch or studies on PCOS that you can get in on. It's worth a try. also medical schools also usually have low cost clinics you can go to.Have you tried Planned Parenthood? They are low cost gynocological care and have a sliding pay scale. You can at least talk to them about your PCOS conscerns and get BCP that might help with some of the symptoms again its worth a try. Hope I helped.Dona > >Hi everyone.
