Re: **1st Trip to endocrinologist**(cranky venting...sorry)

My second visit was my benefit of the doubt visit for this endo. I came prepared to ask him what the plan was, but I was so rushed I didn't have a chance to! ;-(

I think I'm going back to my gp. She is very pcos savvy and takes time with me. She always met with me and then called the endo to ask questions, so I asked if I should just go to the endo and she said to give it a try. I just don't feel like waiting another 3 months to see if I get rushed out of the office again.

This last time I went to the endo with a list of questions and had to try to ask them as he was running out the door. I'm sure he is overbooked, so the best thing for me, him, and his other patients is for me to move along to someone else.

I also don't think it's too much to expect the doctor to explain what he's planning for you. My gp presented options, made suggestions, and planned things with me. The endo just asked how I was doing and had blood drawn and he seemed most concerned with my facial hair, which I don't even care about, so he didn't even take the time to ask if I cared or bothered to tell me why it's so important to monitor my testosterone.

OKay, breathe, breathe....

Yes, I think it's time for me to move to a different doctor! ;-)
