I found your site by accident. I was looking for something else. I had recently seen a neurologist who suggested my problems were migraine headaches and nothing more. I was searching for some information on another disease mentioned by her. When I stumbled upon your site I was surprised. Here were woman talking about the same things that were affecting me. I took the little test that your website has and scored a 16. I then printed out some of your information, and while not wanting to diagnos myself I insisted that my doctor read it. That was today, he read your information and listened to me relate my family history, but most importantly he didn't tell me I was wrong. I currently await the results of my blood tests. He has begun me on Glucophage(generic) as a precaution and told me it is his strong opinion that I do have PCOS or something in "that ballpark". It was very strange, I wasn't emotional or anything. I was just releaved to have been listened to and quite possibly to finally know what is wrong with me. I want to thank this website and all of you for shareing your stories, you helped guide me to the medical attention I needed. I will now be able to tell my sister's what they need to look for and most importantly that we are not nuts! I'm sorry this is so long,but thank you all.
