Re: Birth control pills and PCOS

My experience is this: bcps & metformin = success. I went off bcps to go on a rezulin study, and everything started growing and I gained my weight back. I am on OrthoCept, and 850 mg Metx3/day ((although I forget alot, so I only end up taking 2/day). my unofficial theory is this - the bcps will help 'knock down' the levels of testosterone in some women, allowing the met to work (many women can't get met to work on its own, but in conjunction with bcps, it helps).
