Cassandra,

I can empathize, however, your Endo may not be aware that you felt rushed. Sometimes doctors are scheduled so tightly that they reduce you to a nuts and bolts treatment, not really sharing the process with you. It seems a real shame to have to change doctors, especially since this one is PCOS savvy. It really depends on you and your personality but, before you totally give up on him, I would try again and make sure when you book the appointment with the reservationist to say "Since I really felt rushed in and out before, when should I book an appointment so I have a little time to discuss my treatment plan?" THEN at your appointment make sure you say something to your doctor along the lines of: " I have some questions I wanted to ask last time, but I felt a little rushed. I'd like to talk to you about..." And make sure you have a list of questions to ask. You have to lead this discussion: Don't expect this doctor to initiate detailed discussions about your partnership in health etc... This may be a very good doctor with a poor bedside manner, but of course, you are the consumer and you can choose to take your business elsewhere.
