Can you have PCOS and have elevated cortisol levels without having Cushings? That's my question for you. I appreciate the info your giving me. :-) I'm getting the 24hr urine done in a few days. Will that rule out Cushings? I'm getting nervous about this now. I feel like I just got the PCOS under control -- more or less. I've been diagnosed a couple of years ago and I'm taking 1500mg of Glucophage daily, 200mg of spironolactone daily and recently started on the Diane 35 to help my skin since the OTC (BCP) didn't do a damn thing. Now to think I might have something totally different is almost depressing. I've been learning so much about the PCOS and listening to everyone's stories and getting useful info. I feel like I'll be starting all over again if I have Cushings.
