I agree, it is very easy to think and hope that everything that is wrong with you is related to pcos. In someway it makes you feel less of a hypochondriac (sp?!). I have asked questions of the board before, not because I think that they are connected to the PCOS, but because I hope that someone, somewhere (there are alot of us that come here) may have suffered the same, or know someone who has, or has read something somewhere. At the end of the day, doctors do need to know more about this disease, or what ever you want to call it. However, I live in the real world, and know that while there are so many diseases and ailments out there, finding someone to cure PCOS is a long way off. LONG way off!!!!!!! (shame). Some people suffer from this worse than others, and they probably have lots more symptoms as well as the ones that are connected to PCOS officially, and I believe deep down they are connected. Beacause that person feels down, or bad about them selves, it will make them more suseptable to other things, and so it goes on. We should not beat ourselves up for our thoughts and beliefs, but we should also be careful not to blame everything onto pcos, because one day we may ignore a symptom, and it could lead to something more serious. What I am trying to say, is if ever we are in any doubt, we should have it checked out. Take care ladies.
