My sister and I live in L.A. and were both diagnosed with PCOS with the last year. We both have found drs. who know about PCOS. My sister is seeing an OB/GYN at Cedars-Sinai, as well as an endocrinologist there, and is having a lot of success. I'm sorry but I don't know exactly which ones...maybe you can ask around. I have a wonderful NP at Kaiser West L.A., but she is finishing up maternity leave, so I can't really refer you to her (her leave is understandable, but it really is holding up my treatment, and I don't want you to have the same problem). The drs in the OB/GYN hub B at Kaiser West L.A. all seem to know about PCOS. Be careful, though...as Kaiser is an HMO, it takes ages to get ap'pts and referrals. I hope this is helpful!
