Re: Please read and offer advice if you canFrom: S.H. (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 27 Mar 2001 18:35:02 -0600 (CST)
Hey everyone! Thanks for all the replies and good advice. I have a few questions. What is Spiro? I've never heard of it. What does it do? As for the hair removal methods, well, I've tried all the waxing, saving, depilatories (sp?), etc. and have had no sucess. The hair is so coarse that bleach doesn't work and the depilartories doesn't make the hair fall out, all it does is burn my skin. I've even used the stronger kinds made for leg hair. I thought of Vaniqua but doesn't it slow down the hair growth? I don't know if that would be benefical to me because my problem is my skin is very fair and my hair very dark (jet black) so even when i remove it (usually shaving or hair off mittens) you can still see it under my skin. Do the meds you guys mentioned help with the hair growth or what? I know absoultely nothing about them. I guess laser removal would be best if I can get it affordably. One last thing- I feel so much better today just knowing that I'm not alone in this. I always hear there are other women out there with my problem but I have never met anyone or talked to anyone. I don't feel so alone in this now. I felt like a freak in high school when no one could understand my problem, not even the doctors. So thank you to everyone that posts here and the creators of this discussion board. :-) P.S. Anyone with low carb recipe ideas? I'm having a hard time finding different things to make. Please e-mail me if you have any ideas. =)
