Tani,

First and foremost - I don't mean to alarm you but you do need to make an appointment with your OBGYN or your Primary care doctor.

Leaking from the nipple when you are not pregnant can be the sign of a serious condition. About 5 years ago I noticed the same problem and my OB sent me for a Cat Scan. They were looking for a tumor of the pituitary (sp?) gland. Apparently, leaking from the nipple is a sign of this.

I did not have a tumor so you can see that it is not always the case. However I did meet a woman 2 years ago that did have the same problem, did have a tumor and it was brought under control with medication. She is fine.

But you can see that it is important to follow this up with medical attention to either rule this out or have the benefit of early detection.

Best Wishes ~ Kallie
