Well Ladies... I had my appt yesterday with an encrinologist in my area...Whatta joke...He started by looking at my hair growth(i was instructed not to wax or shave any parts of my body)he was amazed tht a woman could have so much hair and wasn't afraid to say so...I asked questions about Metformin and Insulin resistance...Stated tht IR has nothing to do with PCOS/Also stated tht metformin was only for woman who are trying to concieve....and at this point I am not!! This is the 2nd time I have been told this...Why can't I find a Dr. out there who is aware of PCOS and IR....Endo wants me to lose 60 lbs, go off bcp and go for more blood work...and then to see him after I do all that......He just did not seem to know or care about so many issues that we face daily......I guess I just wanted to vent and let you all know how dumb dr.can be!!!
