lactation and oral contraceptiveFrom: Tani (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 27 Mar 2001 01:26:41 -0600 (CST)
Recently I stopped taking ortho tricyclen and a month or so later I began lactating from one nipple. I confirmed I was not pregnant. I read that lactation when you are not pregnant is a sign that you might not be ovulating. I am concerned that this is a serious problem and I won't be able to conceive later. Now, I returned to taking the pill becuase of life changes that temporarily require I don't become pregnant. Will this affect the lactation? After two months on the pill again I am still lactating from the same nipple.
