I had a very bad experience yesterday at my doctors appt. First of all I am seeing an RE in KC but since he is 2 1/2 hours from me I went to a regular gyno to get my ultrasound done this month to check for ovulation. The gyno DID NOT know what he was doing. First he couldnt find my left ovary and took a pic of my bowl or something thinking it was my ovary and said it looked odd...scaring me to say the least.Then I seen what I thought was a good follicle on my right ovary and he couldnt find it again...I wanted to take the probe and do it myself .Then he found what he said could be a follicle on my right ovary and said it was only 8mm and wasnt big enough for anything to come of it.I almost cried then,and when he had finished he told me it looked like I was just gonna have to wait till next month and go to 150 mg of clomid ....like it was no big deal.When the doc went outside the door I heard him talking to the nurse saying that this is what happens when a woman is overweight.....blaming it all on my wieght!!!!While I was waiting the nurse called KC and talked to my nurse at the RE's office.She wanted to talk to me and asked me if I could make a trip to KC tuesday for a scan done by them. I said definately !!!When I got home I called the RE's office back crying and told her of my bad experienceand that the gyno had said that 8 mm was not big enough ,she told me to not worry that is why she asked me to come to them tuesday.She said they were not satisfied with the gyno's report to them. My question is ..Does anyone know how big a follicle should be by day 11??????? mine was 8mm is this too small at that point?????????? Please I need some hope till tuesday.
