It has now been quite a while since laser hair treatments have been approved by the FDA and unleashed on the public. I've been eagerly watching for news of whether it is really permanent or not, or whether it even works or not, but I can't seem to get a good handle on it. The laser places themselves always claim that they reduce hair growth up to 90% or something, but you also tend to hear stories from people who were very disappointed with their results. I REALLY need to know if this technology works before I invest a few thousand dollars that I don't have into it. So, are there people out there who've had either success or failure with laser treatments? I would really appreciate hearing some first-hand testimonials on this one. Also, please include the kind of laser used if you can, as there are many different kinds and some may be more effective than others for all I know. I am DESPERATE to do something about this problem as it is really wrecking my self-esteem. Thanks for any help.
