Heart Problems & PCOS

I am in my late 30's and recently had heart by-pass surgery. I've never been diagnosed with PCOS, however, after reading through the posts on this board I wonder. Many of the symptoms that I've read about sound all too familiar.

Anyway, I was wondering if there has been any confirmed link between PCOS and coronary artery disease. I don't have any of the typical risk factors for what I've been through - all my doctors are baffled.

If anyone has any info on a possible link between the two I would be interested in hearing/reading about it. I don't want to "self-diagnose" but I also have learned you need to be educated and doing your own research can't hurt anything.
