Michelle, Hi my name is Kim and I am new to this forum to. I have had a leep procdure done and was awake through the whole thing. I do not mean to make you scared but I felt some pain but it was tolerable. My doctor told me it wouldn't be painful at all so I was expecting no pain but I did at first and when the lidocaine wears off you get a little cramping and a little bleeding. But everybody is different the main thing is you are going to get it taking care of. Any questions just e-mail me I would be glad to answer any of them.
