Jodi,

I think this is only a question that you yourself can answer. It is a very personal thing and all about your own "comfort level" with your bf. I agree with educating him on PCOS as is it something that you must live with, and understanding provides clarity and comfort. :)

I can relate to the "chin hair" thing and being worried about it very much. I was always VERY self conscience about it, until I met my fiance. Now I don't flinch when I feel a hand where I used to just about FAINT ! I'm never brave enough "not to shave"... but I have shaved and my baby has seen me and I lived through it :)

My partner actually looks up information on the internet (and found this wonderful list for us), we read books together etc. I think that people generally fear the "unknown"... and learning, education and understanding make it easier for both parties :::smile::::
