I thought I was dying as I had never experienced it before. A very scary thing indeed !! In June 2000 my gyn put me on PROVERA also and I noticed the same thing that you are speaking of. Spotting throughout the month (but not a regular period). That is when I returned to my gyn and he suggested that Diane 35 was an excellent drug for PCOS, so I switched to it in January 2001 and things seem to be going well thus far. Although he did say that it would take approx. 6 months before I would see a noticible difference in my body and PCOS.
