GUILT - maybe longFrom: amy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 19 Mar 2001 12:14:25 -0600 (CST)
So I was at the pharmcy a few days ago and the pharmacist said glucophage as she was handing it to me. This other middle-aged customer who was waiting sort of sized me up and said "glucophage..that's for diabetes?". I don't know why, but I get defensive whenever diabetes is mentioned..anyone else? So I quickly said that it was normally for diabetes but that I didn't have diabetes. He was like "so it is for diabetes but you don't have it?" And I said yes and that I was glad I didn't. His response was "Well I do have it and I'm glad that you don't." Ouch why did I have to be such a jerk and act like diabetes was leprosy??
