Can someone tell me what's going on?From: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 14 Mar 2001 17:17:49 -0600 (CST)
I was diagnosed with PCOS about 3 months ago. I took Demulin for two of those months but was very nauseated the whole time so after the second cycle, I was switched to Ortho-cept. The problem is, that I have not had a period and I am on day 4 of the Placebo pills (that are suppose to be wen I have a period). With the Demulin, the first month I had a period like I wad suppose to, but with the second pack, the throughout the month I kept forgetting to take pills and when I had not had a pill for two days I'd start spotting a little. This happened probably 3 times during that pack, so when it came time for the placebos, I just spotted for the week, but I figured it was cuz I had thrown off my system throughouyt the month. But this month, with the ortho-cept, I was VERY diligent about taking the pills. I never missed even one, but I have not started a period yet. It worries me. Has this happened to anyone? Is it any concern for alarm? I appreciate any and all input.
