Re: Menses but no ovulation? More informationFrom: Beth (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 12 Mar 2001 22:21:21 -0600 (CST)
I was doing a bit of research on this. This particular site talks about anovulatory periods being caused by a progesterone problem. It refers to a book about pre-menopause... http://www.cyberparent.com/women/premenopause.htm I have read similar things before and was leafing through a pre-menopause book the other night. I have no idea if it's testosterone, progesterone or what that causes it. My Endo. has been waiting to investigate this with me further until I had my IR under control a bit and felt better. I will be curious to see what he comes up with through further testing. Anyhow just thought I'd give you some ideas of what to search for, I'm sure there's tons of info. out there about it.
