Really bad Insulin Levels...

O.K., I had an OGTT on Monday and got back my blood sugar results on Tuesday: 0 Hr - 90 MG/DL, 1 Hr - 193 MG/DL, 2 Hr - 175 MG/DL, and 3 Hr - 170 MG/DL.

These looked kind of bad and so I figured, yup IR! Then today, I got the results of the insulin levels. Pardon my language, but holy shit! 0 Hr - 26.8, 1 Hr - 190 (yes, 190!), 2 Hr - 305, and 3 Hr - 271.

Doesn't this sound VERY high to everyone? I read somewhere that for the 2 Hr anything over 60 is IR and mine was 305!!!!

What kind of damage can insulin levels that high cause? And yes, I will be asking my doctor for Glucophage next week when I go in to discuss the results.
