You know everyone I have heard from says that the XR is supposed to be MUCH gentler on the GI tract, so I hope it works well for you! I tried it last month just to lose the hassle of taking pills all day long, and I got awfully sick on it. But then, I never had any problems with the regular glucophage, so I think I am just strange. Give it a try, definitely!
