ooh - thanks Lesley!

I had a look for the flavoured Perrier in our local store last night but they didn't have it, so I shall extend my search!

All the other flavoured waters that they had contained either aspartane or saccharine - I know aspartane is bad in terms of insulin production - does anyone know about saccharine?

And Lesley - have you totally given up beer now then? Is that because you're on met or because of it stimulating insulin production? I've cut back drastically on the amount I drink - it's really made me aware of how much of our social life is based around alcohol! Have you found it difficuly socially? I certainly don't mean this in terms of being an alcoholic, just that going to bars or pubs or friends' houses for a drink seems to be the main social activity in the UK!
