No...the doctor will not get the script back. But, if you do this, please make sure that you use some other form of birth control. The birth defects that Aldactone can cause could be very devastating -- so please be careful.

I'm currently taking glucophage, aldactone, and Alesse ( a lower dose BCP). I've always hated "the pill" and I'm sure it's causing my chronic exhaustion, small skin eruptions all over my body, etc... Aside from protecting you from pregancy, my doctor told me "the pill" would help the Aldactone and the Glucophage work better. That's the ONLY reason I'm on it. I'd really just rather take the Glucophage because my biggest concern is the weight, but my RE says this combination of drugs will be a more efficient path to wellness.
