Thanks for you feedback and words of support Kristy,

What prompted you to try the prenatal vitamins as opposed to other formulas? I've been taking B6 (100 mg) daily for a month or so as it is supposed to help mniimize "pre-menstrual symptoms" including breakouts. It's hardly a therapeutic dose, but I really haven't noticed any difference at this point. I'll have to look into the prenatal formula as an option.

I've enjoyed clear skin at the end of each of my accutane treatments, but that has not proven to be a permanent solution for me. I'm almost 30 and my acne is clearly worse than it was in my teens. I have felt that my acne is hormonally driven for quite some time now, so I'm hoping that getting my hormones (and nutrition) more balanced will help me to address the cause rather than mask the symptoms.

When the doctor suggested 50 mg of spiro, I was kind of afraid that that was too low a dose to be effective, so I'm glad to hear that you have found it helpful, if only in a back up capacity.
