Anne I think it is great that you are such a good mother in being active in your daughter's health! That is wonderful to hear.

I don't have any real answers for you but I thought I would point out that there is a difference between having polycystic ovaries and having PCOS. Maybe your daughter just has PCO? How was she diagnosed? That being said it is also posible that her symptoms are just mild at this point, which is very good - because if you keep her healthy and treated properly now, it can prevent things from getting bad in the future.
