In 1996 I found out I have Graves (Hyper)approx. 1.5 years later I received radioactive iodine to distroy my thyroid..so now I'm hypo (the joys of life!).Anyway a couple of months ago I found out that I have PCOS as well..wouldn't surprise me if there was a connection..but I don't believe that's been proven (yet?. It was actually my thyroid specialist who requested the bloodwork which showed that I also had PCOS. I thought I was still complaining about my thyroid...hair loss, weigth gain etc....Sometimes it's hard to tell the 2 (hypo and PCOS) apart. When I asked my gyno if there could be a conection he said 'they're all conected'! Good luck with the doc...Rose
