ps - i know that one issue with me was that vegetarian has become such a HUGE part of my identity. it's very hard to give up a part of your identity. i know vegans are even more attached to the identity of vegan than vegetarians are attached to the identity of vegetarian - they have to be to keep up such an unconventional lifestyle. this is probably the hardest issue i struggle with... giving up a apart of myself. however... well, i am trying to convince myself that it would be nicer to have the identity of "thin, active, menstruating meat eater" than "pudgy, hairy, acne ridden, infertile vegetarian." just another point to ponder... - jodi
