> Well, as I understand it; the reason PCOS have so many cysts IS because the eggs don't fully develop (ie: pop out) and the cysts are really just old eggs. That is one of the things about PCOS that really kind of freaked me out. But, I could be wrong. I think that is what the doctor told me or I read on some fertility website. That is why drilling overies is such a big thing. It is supposed to release some "thing" (gee I sound real technical LOL) and make your overies function better. I kind of got this mental image that PCOS overies were like dipped in candy coating and my poor eggs were trying desperatly to break out leaving bumps and lumps everywhere but rarely breaking free. I know NOT how it really is but, that is the menal image I formed when learned that my overies were not doing what EVERYONE else seems to do with great ease. I'm so glad I found this website. It makes me feel so much more normal hearing from other people with the same frustrating things going on with their bodies. BUT here is what I did when I thought about my CANDY COATED OVERIES; I formed an image in my mind that the candy coating was breaking, and my eggs were floating free. It helped me, and I did get pg. I am not saying that is why I got pg but, I think it helped me to de-stress. I always feel better when I can tell someone what to do.. so I decided to treat my overies like a friend. And give them a little advice. (LOL) Really I know in my moments of breif sanity (usually first day of my period, weird huh?) I know that the hardest part of PCOS is getting and keeping a mental grip, PMS on steroids, and every month I know my PMS is saying "I'll be back!" And it usually is.
