Re: I'm gonna freak out - very shortlyFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netTue, 20 Feb 2001 09:55:57 -0500
Kallie, I am in the same boat as you. I stopped losing on Atkins. I have decided to go back to the Carbohydrate Addicts Diet on which I constantly lost weight. Keep trying, each body is different. Even on a Low Carb plan, your body is going to resist losing weight, just because you have PCOS. A low carb diet does not make weight loss inevitable, just possible. It's a shred of hope. Weight loss really depends on lots of things including medications and vitamins you're on, stress levels, caffeine intake and exercise. I know for me, that if I were to start having Coke, pasta and bread again I'd get addicted, feel bad and tired again AND start gaining instead of maintaining. Try to think of lower carbing as re-educating your body and preserving your health. I KNOW it's hard. Selena
