Re: 200 mg Clomid

It appears that the research varies as to what dosage and the length you can take it.  My MD says not longer than 12 months and 200 mg is the maximum dosage.  I have read many studies and numerous books - and they all say different things  Some say never go over 150 and not longer than 3 months - others say 200 is fine.  I find it very frustrating as I don't know who to believe.  We tend to put all of our faith in the "specialists" as a rule I think they should know what they are doing.  However - for people like myself that research stuff and then ask the MD all sorts of questions - I just feel like I end up more confused.

My doctor said that no one should be on Clomid for more than six to seven
months. I have been on it for exactly six months, and I went all the way to
150mg, and still nothing, so now I am going to a fertitility specialists. I
can't really remember what he said that Clomid will do to your body if you
keep taking it, but I think you should be checking into it all before you
continue to take it.
