Dear Sonnet, I know there have been many replies to this, but here's on more. That Dr. is a BIATCH!!! How DARE she actually suggest such a DRASTIC surgery when it makes NO medical sense. I had a Dr. suggest that to me too---it was a GYN specialist who totally refused treatment, but did suggest, and tried referring me for this surgery. Like others have suggested, I would SERIOUSLY file a complaint about this woman. She's probably pulling this same SH*T with other women who don't know better and are falling for it. That's malpractice honey. She's probably just trying to make an extra thousand bucks, along with PURPOSELY trying to hurt you in (crazy) hopes that you'll change your eating habits because you feel guilty---EVEN THOUGH THAT'S NOT THE PROBLEM!!! ARRGGHHH! I hate Dr's! I have yet to find one who's willing and capable of treating this disorder/disease/condition---whatever you wanna call it. The first and only Endo I saw actually told me this is NOT a disease, that it's "nothing"! She wanted to take me OFF the Met and, like your recent Dr, blamed the weight on me. I am SO sick and tired of this. I was ready to die. I have been getting so depressed and frustrated by all of it that I've actually given up on pursuing this matter further. EVERY Dr. I've seen (other than 1, but she wasn't able to continue treatment because she's not an Endo) has been refusing treatment and putting the blame on me. I'm not a strong person and just can't handle it anymore. PLEASE REPORT THAT WOMAN!!! It will prevent others from falling prey to her BS, as well as the heartache she is causing. You are a wonderful person and should NOT let a jerk like her bring you down like this. You know you are right--keep that faith in your heart. Take care--and PLEASE REPORT HER!!!
