Michele, If I recall correctly when I researched Clomid on the internet
hen my doc gave to me it warned against going over 150 mgs. You might
want to look around on the net a bit and see what you can find.

>Michele-I tried clomid up to 200mg several times, but was deemed "clomid resistant" due to all of the side affects and no ovulation. I saw a reproductive endocrinologist who put me on Metrodin (injectable med) with my first child (he is almost 4 now), and Fertinex (injectable meds) with my second child (he is now 19 months). I conceived both of them on my first ovulation cycle and took progesterone suppositories during the pregnancies. I was pregnant with twins the second time, but ended up with just one health baby. I am blessed to have both of my children. There are newer injectable meds available now, but I am not sure of the names. They were very expensive (about $60 and injection). I started with one injection per day and advance up to two during my cycle. The second pregnancy I developed ovarian hyperstimulation (this was not fun at all!). My doc told me that this sometimes happens. Good luck! I personally hated the clomid and was a little bit nicer when I was taking the injectables.
