Question on Spironolactone

Hello Everyone,

I hope someone can help me w/ this question.I have PCOS and the unwanted hair growth,which I was taking Spiro. 50 mg for.I stopped taking this med. because I had a very uneasy feeling about it,I do not know why I feel this way,but for once in my life I am trusting my instincts.I would like to know if there are any sites that anyone knows of that have some info. on Spironolactone that maybe would put my mind at ease about taking this med.? Or if anyone can tell about their expirence w/ Spiro. I would really appreciate the help.Thank all of you for all the wonderful info. you guys share .

P.S.My endo.  does not know I quit taking my Spiro.,but I expressed my
uneasiness about it and she dismissed it and then told me at my next
appt.  in April she was going to increase the dosage.Thx for the help *
