I had a sonogram that showed my left ovary to be 3.3cm and right ovary to be 5.3 cm. I had a laparoscopy that didn't show any cysts on my ovaries. My doctor has ordered a bunch of lab tests to see if I have PCOS. My question is does this sound like symptoms of PCOS? Also, he started me on Metformin while I am awaiting my lab results. Will this help with weight loss? I am trying to cut a lot of carbs out of my diet to try and help me lose weight. Am I on the right track? Thanks.
