Re: To Kate re:adrenal hyperplasmia and pcosFrom: Kate (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 14 Feb 2001 03:20:30 -0600 (CST)
My last child was born at home, in a large pool of water, with no pain relief and no stitches - bliss!!!! The previous two were hospital births; the second being extremely traumatic (baby and I nearly died through neglgigence of midwife) resulting in some pretty horrendous injuries to me. Are you thinking that my abdomen is swollen because of damaged muscles? This is certainly part of it - I have strong ab muscles but they do curve outwards. But the main problem is very definitely horrible, lumpy, disgusting FAT!!!! I would love to have a fourth child - I live in a part of the UK where larger families are the norm - but I don't believe that it will be possible. I have always been able to tell when I ovulate - pain plus a very slight bleed. This no longer happens to me and I am convinced I am not ovulating. Of course, I could easily be wrong!! Thanks so much for replying to my messages - since finding this site I do feel a lot less alone - and a lot less alien!!
