Hi! I just went through some serious bouts with UTI's. The most pain I think I've ever been through. I can't say that I've gotten them after my period but I can tell you that those pills they sell over the counter for the pain associated with UTI's works very well. Don't be alarmed though...they turn your urine a very very bright orange! Also, check w/ your doctor about getting an antibiotic for the UTI....take all the pills prescribed so that it will be gone! :-) Alexis
